Vintage Notes:
The 2023 vintage began with reasonable weather
throughout bloom and set. During the sizing phase, we experienced very warm
weather that affected berry growth on many varietals. In mid-March, while
harvest slowed due to moderate temperatures, the prolonged ripening periodmaintained vine balance and higher fruit quality. Overall, the 2021 vintage
delivered yields slightly normal while upholding our desired fruit characteristics
and quality. Picked by hand during the last week of April.

Fermentation Notes

ripeness. The grapes were hand-picked into 15-pound boxes and transported to
the winery. Initial fermentation, as well as malolactic fermentation is completed

Tasting Notes
Buen Andres Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a sweet nose of black fruit, dried herbs, tobacco, spice box. Medium to full-bodied with firm but smooth tannin structure, it has a nicely textured mid-palate and a stylish finish. This is a rich, elegant wine that will hold its own when paired with grilled meats, roasts and game dishes.
Meats served with berry or cherry reduction sauces will pair particularly well with its fruit forward flavors. Elegant wine that will hold its own when paired with grilled meats, roasts and game dishes

Chilean wine has a long history for a New World wine region, as it was the 16th century when the Spanish and missionaries around 1554 brought Vitis vinifera vines with them as they settled in the region, and in the mid-19th century European Vitis vinifera vines were brought to Chile by French winemakers. Maule Valley is blessed with a fantastic climate, especially for grapes! The region gets lots of sunshine and not too much rain with warm days and cool evenings.
The Andes and South Pacific Ocean moderates the temperatures, and the famous “Mistral” wind keeps the vineyards dry, free of pests, and the skies clear.
